Can I buy BARTA passes on the bus?
Yes, you can buy a BARTA All Day Pass when you board the bus. You must tell the driver you want to purchase an All Day Pass BEFORE you put any cash in the farebox.
If I buy a pass online can I print it out or will it be mailed to me?
You can not print out a printed pass and use it immediately after placing an online order. BARTA passes purchased online will be mailed within two business days from the time of the order. If you would like a pass to use immediately, you can use the BARTA Go Mobile app to purchase a fare ticket or a pass.
When do I pay when I ride the bus?
All customers pay when they board the bus.
Can a 10 Ride Pass be used for more than one person?
Yes, a 10 Ride Pass can be used for as many rides as needed at one time.
Do you have student discounts on passes?
BARTA has student discounts for children aged 6 to 18 (in grades 1 to 12). A school ID is required as proof of student status. Student discounts are not available for college students.
What is considered a student?
A student is any child ages 6 to 18 (in grades 1 through 12). College Students are not considered students on BARTA.
I ride my bike to the bus stop. Can I take my bike on the bus with me?
