If you receive Medical Assistance from the Department of Welfare, you may be eligible for transportation to medical appointments on BARTA Special Services. Passengers who receive Medical Assistance and are able to ride BARTA Buses are eligible for a bus pass when they ride to medical appointments on the regular BARTA bus system. If you are over 65 years of age, it is recommended that you also fill out the Senior Shared-ride Application
