BARTA has transitioned to Mobile Phone and Smart Card payments. BARTA is no longer selling paper, or magnetic strip passes. Customers can either use their Mobile Phones or can use a BARTA Go Mobile Smart Card. At the present time, BARTA is still accepting paper, magnetic passes for customer fares at the farebox.

All passes purchased online will be loaded onto a BARTA Go Mobile Smart Card. After the customer receives their smart card and uses it, customers can visit the BARTA Go mobile portal to reload their card with future purchases.

Instead of paying your fare in cash, a 10 Ride Pass entitles you to 10 one-way rides at a discounted rate. Plus 10 Ride passes never expire! You just insert your pass into the farebox to deduct the ride. The Half-Fare 10 Ride passes are for those who have qualified for the Half- Fare Persons with Disabilities Program.

31 Day Passes

BARTAs 31 Day Pass is the answer for our most frequent rider. The 31 Day Pass offers unlimited rides in a 31 Day period. Once the pass is activated, the 31 Day period begins.

Attention Current Customers:

If you already have your GoMobile Smart Card and wish to reload it you can place an online order.
Online Orders are processed Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Our staff processes the order and then reloads it. If you make a purchase on a Friday afternoon or during the weekend, the order will not be processed until Monday.
Please note that placing an online order does not reload your card instantly. If you would like to purchase and use a pass immediately, it is recommended that you download the BARTA Go Mobile App and make your purchase.

All on-line orders will be mailed the new BARTA Go Mobile reloadable smart card unless otherwise specified.

Refund Policy on BARTA Passes

BARTA does not assume responsibility for the loss, theft, destruction or misplacement of passes by our passengers. Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. BARTA does not make refunds or exchanges.
