BARTA GO MOBILE is a simple new way to pay for BARTA Special Services instead of paying cash. You can pay with a smartphone or a BARTA Go Mobile card, making it easier to ride. You can choose the most convenient for you, or mix & match according to your preferences.
THE 2 DIFFERENT WAYS TO USE BARTA GO MOBILE FOR BARTA SPECIAL SERVICES
1. The BARTA Mobile Application
BARTA Special Service customers can now pay for their trip using the E-Wallet feature on the BARTA Go Mobile app.
Use the following steps to pay for your trip using the E-Wallet:
*Please Note: The E-Wallet does not alert customers when their account is low. It is up to the customer to monitor their wallet total to be sure they have enough funds in their account.
2. Reusable Smart Card
Use the following steps to pay for your trip using the BARTA Go Mobile card:
Ways to reload your BARTA Go Mobile card:
Via the BARTA mobile app:
Download the mobile app and connect your BARTA GO MOBILE account with the app using the email you specified when buying the smart card. To reload your smart card via the app, select the E-Wallet option and connect your credit/debit card to load money into your E-Wallet. The money loaded in your E-wallet is then available to be used both via the mobile app and the smart card.
Via BARTA GO MOBILE website
You can access your BARTA GO MOBILE account online after you log in. To reload the smart card online, select the E-Wallet option and connect your credit/debit card to load money into your E-Wallet. The money loaded in your E-wallet is then available to be used via your smart card and via the mobile app (if it has been connected to your account).
Please note that if you intend to use and connect a smart card, the mobile app and/or online reload you need to use the same email address across the system. If using social login, make sure your social profile is linked to the same email address.
Your BARTA GO MOBILE Account
It’s an account in the BARTA GO MOBILE system where all the fares, passes, and smart cards you’ve purchased can be stored in digital format.
You can reload your account with new fares and passes at any time, and via any method you prefer: the BARTA mobile app, the BARTA GO MOBILE web portal, or at the BARTA Transportation Center.
Your account is accessible via email or social login, and doesn’t require the use of a password.
Please note that if you intend to use and connect a smart card, the mobile app and/or online reload you need to use the same email address across the system. If using social login, make sure your social profile is linked to the same email address.
